Junko Katada is an associate attorney with Smith Patent Office primarily
handling trademark and copyright preparation and prosecution and design patent matters. Ms. Katada graduated from Waseda University, School of Law,
where she earned a Bachelor of Law degree. She then obtained a Master of Arts in
International Affairs degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
She also obtained her law degree from The Catholic University of America,
Columbus School of Law, with honors. Ms. Katada was also a staff member of the Journal of Contemporary Health Law and Policy, one of the School's prestigious law journals.
Ms. Katada is fluent in both Japanese and English.
